So as the Valentine’s Day gift was officially released early, I can now post the gorgeous photos from last week’s shoot. Hooray!

I could not be happier with the results. Hannah did such a lovely job of being the centre of attention and even when “off camera,” her personality really came through. I have put some of my favourites on the Children’s reel, but if you just don’t want to flip through all those, here are some of my faves!

Seriously, isn’t she just gorgeous? There are several shots that were not planned but just simply happened – my favourite kind…This is one of those perfectly unplanned ones.

Hannah is also American at her roots. I’ve known her since she was just a tiny baby so it was extra special to get to play and photograph her. Of course, her mom was excellent at getting her attention and keeping her upbeat when it counted. You can tell how much Hannah adores her in these shots.

This is what we call SASS! And she’s got plenty of it. What does she have planned? So cute and so mischievous at the same time – I love it!

Probably one of my absolute favourite shots of all time. This one reminds me of a Shirley Temple still. As if she is wearing little tap shoes and is about to sing “Lollypop, lollypop, oo la la lollypop…” I don’t even know if Shirley Temple sings that song but it seems to suit. On a perfectly random side note, ‘Heidi’ was my favourite film growing up. That and 7 Brides For 7 Brothers…and Oklahoma…My Mom brought us up on musicals. I’m bringing Mia up on Mickey Mouse, Charlie Brown and The Talking Heads…

I think she was hiding her toys in her skirt in this one. She didn’t know I was watching…

Finally, another favourite and probably one that will be gracing my walls as well.

I could not have planned for a better day. Happy Valentine’s Day to all! And thank you to Gina and Hannah who let me be apart of their day and special present. It was a pleasure!
